To participate in the Kuchen Contest:

Fill out the provided sign-up form no later than September 15th. Participation is Free.

Kindly come prepared to bring either 2 - 9” pie pans or 1 - 8 x 13” pan of pre-baked Kuchen, ensuring there's enough for both our esteemed judges and the eager public to relish.

Contest Schedule:

• 5:45 pm: Contestants set up their pre-made Kuchens for judging.

• 6:00 to 7:00 pm: Judging begins - contestants present their Kuchens to the panel of judges, and the public is invited to judge for People’s Choice.

• 7:30 pm: Awards ceremony - winners announced for Judge's Choice and People's Choice.

Prizes:

In addition to the well-deserved bragging rights, our victorious contestants for both the judge’s choice and people’s choice categories will be honored with an elegant plaque, a tasteful token to adorn their kitchen with pride.

Contest Categories:

1. Judge's Choice: Impress our panel of expert judges with your baking finesse. Your Kuchen will be evaluated on the following criteria:

• Appearance: Visual appeal, presentation, and creativity.

• Filling: Taste, texture, and quality of the filling. Does it complement the crust?

• Crust: Texture, taste, and overall execution of the crust.

• Overall Flavor: The harmonious blend of all elements and how well they come together.

2. People's Choice: Let the crowd decide! Contestants will have the opportunity to win over the hearts (and taste buds) of attendees. Each guest will have a chance to sample the Kuchens and cast their vote for the most flavorful creation. *We will provide the mini muffin cups for you to divide your dessert.
